I wrote this audio essay in an Intro to Audio Storytelling class. It’s one of the first pieces I ever produced. My favorite kind of stories, and the most difficult to write, are those in which I feel the most vulnerable. The writing in this essay is honest and vulnerable, and the piano music was played and recorded by me on my out-of-tune home piano.
